He went to Jareds!

My sweetheart got down on his knee and asked for me to be his wife.

I said "YES"

It will be an honor to be Mrs. Ken Lindeen.

I never thought I would find a love like this, nor did I ever think I'd actually want to get married again.

But I did.

And I thank God every day for this happiness.

Every day that the sun rises, every night that the sun sets, I will thank God for helping me find my strength to stay this strong.  I will thank Him for keeping His faith in me, even when I had lost mine in Him.

Simple things

Sometimes life gets so hectic, you forget to stop and appreciate the simple things.

• A beautiful sunrise with your lover by your side.
• Your child's imagination while he plays quietly with his toys.
• The pelicans swimming in the lake.
• The touch of the wind on your face.
• The warmth of the car on a cold day.
• Fresh clean sheets on the bed.
• Being the first to open the tub of butter.
• Hearing your sweetie's voice first thing in the morning instead of the lousy alarm clock.
• A good hair day.
• Your grandma's homemade cookies.
• A cloud that forms the shape of a heart.
• Seeing the Energizer bunny in the moon, instead of a man's face.
• A perfect grade on a test.
• Going to bed knowing you accomplished something that day.
• Freshly vacumed carpets.
• The smell of your lover's cologne on his pillow.
• A hello from a friend you haven't heard from in a while. 
• The sound of the windchimes on a breezy day.
• The smell of lilacs.
